Q. What does “KYO-MACHIYA HOTEL” look like?
A. This hotel is a renovation of nearly 100 year old townhouses into 10 different kinds of hotel rooms. Shiki-Juraku consists of the front desk, a salon and a bar.
Q. Can I smoke in the hotel?
A. Smoking is not allowed in our hotel as they are Kyoto’s important historical structures that are being preserved. Thank you for your co-operation.
Q. Is parking available at the hotel?
A. We do not have a parking lot. If you would like to rent vehicles, please do so on a one-day-basis as you are not allowed to park a vehicle in front of the hotel.
Q. Do you have a room with a kitchen?
A. We offer ICHI-GO(Room #1) and JU-GO(Room #10) with a kitchenette.
We do not provide seasoning in the room. Please be careful with the fire.
Q. Is bicycle rental service available?
A. We do not offer bicycle rental service. We offer public bike rental services.
Q. Is Wi-Fi available at Shiki-Juraku?
A. Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi at our hotel.
Q. Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed in our hotel I am afraid.

Q. Do you offer pick up service?
A. We do not offer pick up service. However, we will book a taxi according to your request.
Q. Can I have a breakfast / lunch / dinner?
A. Breakfast is included in the room charge.
For lunch / dinner restaurant places, please feel free to ask our recommendation.
Q. Do you offer room service at your hotel?
A. We do not offer room service I am afraid.
However, our bar is open until 11:00pm(L.O. 10:00pm).
Q. Can you keep my valuables?
A. We provide safety deposit box in the room. Please keep your valuables in the box.
Q. Do you offer luggage storage service?
A. Yes, we will be able to keep your luggage before Check-in / after Check-out.

Q. Do you take children in your hotel?
A. We take reservations from over 12 years old as we offer a comfortable and relaxing stay for adults. Thank you for your understanding.
Q. How can I pay my accommodation fees?
A. We do not accept payments at check-in.
Please pay via on online travel sites in advance when you make a reservation.
Q. Do you take credit cards?
A. Yes, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, JCB and Diners.
Q. What time is your check-in time?
A. Our check-in is from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Please let us know in advance if you expect to arrive after 8 P.M.
Q. Do you have a curfew?
A. We don’t have a curfew. Our front desk is open until 12:00 A.M. midnight.
